SATS Results for Key Stage 2 2016

The marking scheme changed this year, with many schools noting inconsistencies in the marking between schools and across local authorities.

Reading:  88% reached the expected level (national average = 66%)
(18% reached the Greater Depth of learning)

Grammar and spelling 88% reached the expected level (national – no figures)
35% reached the Greater Depth of learning

Maths 100% reached the expected level (national average = 70%)
29% reached the Greater Depth of learning

Writing – Teacher Assessed 65% reached the expected level (national average = 74%)
12% reached the Greater Depth of learning

Level 4 is the expected level for Year 6. Children are expected to have made 2 levels progress from Key Stage 1.
